1. PAYMENT: Cheques made payable to Fargo Coaches with the pupil’s full name printed on the reverse. We do not have the facility to accept credit cards. Our bank details are on the standing order form if you would prefer to make a direct payment to our account. The cost of a single ticket is £2.00 payable to the driver, providing there is a space available, priority is given to pass holders. We reserve the right to refuse anyone transport if your payments are not up to date. Under no circumstance will a refund be given. 1 full month’s notice must be given to cancel the contract and the bus pass must be sent back. A £5.00 administration charge will apply to returned cheques. Year 11 students pay for May and can continue to use the service to the end of June.
2. PASSES: We will issue a pass to each student which can be collected from the driver in the first week. This must be shown on entry to the driver for each journey. The driver has the right to refuse anyone without a pass. The cost to replace a lost pass is £10.00 copies will not be accepted. Passes are non-transferable, if anyone is found to be giving their pass to another student it will be confiscated and you will be refused to travel.
3. DELAY TO TIMETABLE: In the event of any delay for whatever reason the route will be covered. The length of any delay cannot be predicted so please ask your child to wait for transport. We will not accept charges for taxi services. We recommend that children should get to the bus stop 5 minutes before the departure time. During extreme weather conditions please call the office for service updates or check our website and Facebook page.
4. BEHAVIOUR: A bill will be sent to the parents/guardians of any children found to be causing damage to the vehicle. Abusive or dangerous actions towards fellow passengers, drivers, vehicles or passing pedestrians will result in the following:
- Minor offence: You will be notified by telephone.
- Continuous offence: Your child will be reported to the School
A written warning sent and when appropriate they will be suspended from travel for some time.
- Major offence: Your child will be expelled from travel permanently.
