Pastoral

We believe that students who feel safe and supported will thrive and here at Sandhurst School, we are dedicated to helping students both in and outside of the classroom.

The Student Support Team

The Pastoral room can be found in the main building next to Art, accessible from either the canteen or from outside.

This is a quiet room where we can offer 1:1 targeted support for student well-being, emotional and mental health concerns, as well as social and behavioural issues. 

Mrs C Bird, Student Support Manager, and Mrs T Marshall, Student Support can be found in Pastoral throughout the day.

The Pastoral Team

Each year group has a Head of Year, a Deputy Head of Year and an Engagement Mentor. They are here to offer the students support and can intervene when necessary. Having consistent contact with the students allows them to build a strong relationship and feel more comfortable asking for help when needed.
