Sociology is the study of people’s influences and behaviours and the relationship this has with society. Sociology examines institutions within society such as law and order and looks at how this is both created by individuals and also influences them. Sociology is a course that could help lead into a career in social care, journalism, law, teaching, charities, human resources, retail management and is useful in any job working closely with people.
