Key Stage 3
Students study English, Mathematics, Science, Modern Foreign Language, Design Technology, Food Technology, History, Geography, Art, Music, Drama, Physical Education, Religious Education, Computing. Students follow a rotation of three languages in Year 7 (before being given a choice of which one to follow in Year 8).
In Year 7, students with identified literacy or numeracy difficulties will be withdrawn from languages for the first two rotations and given additional support before entering the third rotation, allowing them to follow language courses in Years 8 and 9.
Key Stage 4
All students will be able to follow a programme of study leading to the English Baccalaureate qualification if they wish to. However, this will not be compulsory. All students will be given advice and guidance about choices and routes of progression post-16.
Our students study GCSE English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Science (Double). They choose a further 4 subjects from: Ad Maths, Biology, Business Studies, PE, Chemistry, Child Development, Drama, French, Geography, German, History, Hospitality & Catering, Music, PE, Photography, Art & Design, Physics, RE, Science, Spanish, Statistics, Travel & Tourism, Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, Design and Technology, Hair & Beauty, IT, Computer Studies.
