Key Stage 3
Students study English, Mathematics, Science, Modern Foreign Language, Design & Technology, Cooking & Nutrition, History, Geography, Art, Music, Drama, Physical Education, Religious Education, Computing. Students study French in Year 7.
In Year 7, students with identified literacy or numeracy difficulties will be withdrawn from languages for the first two rotations and given additional support before entering the third rotation, allowing them to follow language courses in Years 8 and 9.
Key Stage 4
All students will be able to follow a programme of study leading to the English Baccalaureate qualification if they wish to. However, this will not be compulsory. All students will be given advice and guidance about choices and routes of progression post-16.
Our students study GCSE English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Science (Double). They choose a further 4 subjects from: Ad Maths, Biology, Business Studies, PE, Chemistry, Child Development, Drama, French, Geography, German, History, Hospitality & Catering, Food Preparation & Nutrition, Music, PE, Photography, Art & Design, Physics, RE, Science, Spanish, Statistics, Travel & Tourism, Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, Design & Technology, Hair & Beauty, IT, Computer Studies.
